CITGO Petroleum has named Alief Elsik senior Rodrigo Trujillo a CITGO Distinguished Scholar for 2020-2021, earning him scholarship money to put to his college education.
Trujillo's team won the HUDL city championship in the World Schools Division last year. Having been active in debate since middle school, Trujillo served as captain and president of his squad. "Debate has impacted my life in such great ways, I'm not sure how to put it into words," Trujillo told ABC-13 in an interview available here.
